Welcome to Women & Weights Fitness
I’m Kaylynn Tester, CPT and Owner of Women & Weights Fitness. I’ve been a CPT since 2018 and specialize in strength training and women’s fitness. I’ve worked in gyms for the last few years, and in November of 2022 I came upon the opportunity to start my own Private Personal Training Business
My goal is to help women Discover Their Strength and so much more!
I help women gain muscle that will help combat bone deterioration as we age while also lowering the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, arthritis, type 2 diabetes etc.
Women who strength train also have more confidence because they are proud of what their body can DO not what their body looks like.
Strength training also improves metabolic rate giving women the chance to live more freely not restrictively.
As a woman who struggled with body image issues from early adolescence to mid 20s, it is my passion to teach women about strength training in a way that will last a life time!

FAQ
"What is your fitness specialty and qualifications?”
I specialize in strength training and women’s fitness. I am a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a subsidiary of the AFAA. I have been a trainer since 2018 and in my time I have trained clients of all different ages, sizes, and abilities.
“What will a typical session look like?”
A typical session, whether it be a 30min session or an hour session, starts with a 10-15 min warmup. This gets the body ready for the workout you’re about to do. Warmups will be split depending on the muscles that are main focus for that day. We then move into the main workout split into 2 or 3 circuits focusing on specific muscles. Workouts are designed for client abilities and for the client to get the most out of their time with me.
“How do you customize programs?”
Each client goes through a Functional Movement and Strength Session before starting their program. This session involves the client doing a pyramid workout designed to gauge a client's strength and overall abilities. Based on this observation and the consideration of the client's goals discussed, the program is designed and ready to start by the next scheduled session.
“What are appropriate goals to set?”
My message to clients is for them focus on non-scale victories, and they will see changes along the way. A client could focus on being able to run a 5k in 3 months. I would then design a program to help reach that goal as well as notice other physical, or psychological changes too.
